About Cindy

Experience: 10 yrs

The majority of my LPN career has been in nursing homes/rehab centers. I'm looking to find one special person needing assistance at home. I'm experienced with IV's, feeding tubes, wound care and prevention, trach care, medication administration, incontinent care, bathing and general activities of daily living. I have no allergies to animals. I have been able to develop a good rapport with the customer as well as their family members and doctors. I've taken care of my own family members, as well as those of my in-laws, and friends. I've not only cared for them in their own homes, some I've sat with during hospital stays, as well as sitting at their bedside (in a facility, such as a nursing home, or rehabilitation center) after a hospital stay, which ensures that they get the quality of care required. I've provided end-of-life care and coordinate the care I provide with other companies which may be being utilized by customer and/or family.

Cindy did really well from when I hired her November of 2025 until August 5, 2026. She took wonderful care of my son and my other caregiver, Cindy and I got along. She had to take a leave for foot surgery and was out about two months. She informed me of this prior to hiring her. When she return everything resumed as it was before her surgery. I'm not sure exactly what was going on, but on August 4, 2026, I mention a few things she overlooked and she agreed yes she did. Also my two dogs loved her but I felt I needed to give them a little time out because they were always wanting her attention. I felt maybe they were distracting her. We talked some more and she seemed fine, she left that day on a positive note. She camed in the next day. I was in my bedroom, but could hear loud talking but the dogs were barking, so didn't think much of it. The other caregiver was leaving but came in my room to put the dogs in their crates, she said Cindy was upset. She only said that Cindy said the dogs were suppose to be crated! I was confused. Cindy was here about an hour an a half, I went into the livingroom and said, why did you think the dogs would be crated? Well she blew up! She said that's what I told her while I was scolding her about missing some trash and replacing a trash bag in another basket. The more I talked the louder she got. I told her I wasn't scolding her I was just talking to her and that I didn't say the dogs would be crated the whole time she was here, just for a little bit of time. But as I talked she grabbed her belongings and left. I did accidentally hit her heel closing my door quickly to lock it, not realizing her foot was still close to the door. She call me a not so nice name and was walking out to her car, I opened the door and apologized for hitting her foot. It didn't make a difference there was no reasoning with her. I was in total shock about her behavior that day. It's too bad because she did seem to care alot for my son. She treated me well, helped with the dogs when my son was in the hospital for two weeks, I felt I could trust her in my home. I now don't want to hire someone again because I don't want to feel this could happen again. I'm not sure what to do but I think I'm going to take a break from hiring. It's stressful bringing someone into your home for them to blow up on you. If she was that mad she should have stayed home, unless she wanted the confrontation. I don't know.
