About Cindy

Hello! I am a current math teacher at a Des Moines high school. I offer tutoring on all math subjects (except calculus) as well as chemistry/AP chemistry in my home. I have taught for 24 years and have a wide variety of teaching methods that I can use with students to help them be successful in their current classroom. I enjoy young people very much and I find it especially rewarding when I can help them overcome math anxiety or discouragement! Summer is often a good time when math concepts can be improved or caught up to the level needed for the fall. If you would like to speak with some of my tutoring families I can make that happen. I have 3 children of my own ranging in age from middle school to college. I look forward to meeting your child.
