About Cindy

Hello. My name is Cindy, I live in Bucksport . I have been a care giver for 25 yrs. I have worked in a nursing facility well as on my own. I prefer full time 40-50 hrs per week but will also do fill-in and overnights My preferred schedule would be 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. I am reliable and caring. In 6. 5 years of work, 3 1/2 years with an elderly gentleman with dementia and mobility issues and 3 years with an elderly woman with dementia and cardiac issues, I did not miss a day of work. My duties included: managing medication, 3 meals daily, bathing , shopping, appts, housekeeping and companionship. I enjoy spending time with people, sharing stories, listening to music, singing( and little off key) whatever it takes to make the day the best it can be. I enjoy old black and white movies, foreign movies, crocheting, antiques and trying to knit! I enjoy talking with and helping older people. I enjoy their stories, their honesty and the history that goes hand in hand with a long life.
