About Cicely

Unlocking a student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience, I specialize in English and Special Education for elementary and middle school students. I hold certifications in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504). My approach focuses on building confidence by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting concepts to your personal interests. I actively observe your learning style to tailor visual aids and discussions, ensuring an engaging environment. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I prioritize open communication to track your progress and celebrate every "aha!" moment. I find it deeply rewarding to watch students master new skills and reach their academic goals. I am eager to support your growth and look forward to being a part of your educational journey.
