Ciara was good with our daughter and made her feel comfortable and safe. However, Ciara was often late to work and missed a significant number of days in the short time she was with us. We agreed upon a 30 day notice but Ciara gave us a one week notice ahead of a major holiday weekend. When asked to help during the transition, we found Ciara couldn’t because she had already lined up a new job for the following week. She also said she had just found out that she would need to get a new job, however a care check was run one month before she gave her notice. After checking in with care customer service, I found a care check is initiated once a caregiver begins their search for work or activates an account. This leads me to believe that this transition was planned for a month but we were only given the courtesy of a one week notice. Ciara is great with children but we found her to be unreliable.
