About Chyna

Hi! My name is Chyna (pronounced China). I would like to start out by saying I do not currently have hands on experience caregiving for seniors. Currently I work as a social worker in In-home supportive services where I go into the homes of the elderly, blind, and disabled to assess their care needs. In my day to day work, I am interacting with Clients and their care givers learning more and more about what it takes to care for someone who needs assistance. I have gotten SO much feedback about how my presence has eased their anxiety regarding social workers. They often praise my patience, understanding, and empathy. I have a heart for people and would love to jump into the world of providing hands on care for your loved ones! I'm looking for a job that encourages clear communication between the senior, care giver, and their family. It is important that everyone is on the same page. I am also looking for a job that can work around my current full time job.
