I'd describe my personality as compassionate, curious, and fun! I like tutoring because I get to help build the confidence of future lifelong learners. Education is the gateway to success, and I think everyone should have access to the support they need to perform to the best of their ability. Anything is possible with hard work, dedication, and compassion. I'm looking for a job that allows me to tutor in a structured environment and cater instruction to individual needs. I started tutoring professionally when I was hired as an undergraduate calculus teaching assistant my Junior year of college! I also tutored English independently during my high school years in Japan! In my spare time, I like to play the piano, build Lego sets, and engage with German books and media. One thing you should know about me is that I believe that building confidence in a child is the first step to success! My skills include customizing learning plans, being patient, and being flexible.
