Chrystal was an integral part of our family’s care giving team for my disable sister. She worked with Shirley (my sister) almost every day for over 8 years. She was responsible for assisting with all aspects of ADLS; showering, food preparation, medication distribution, outings for hair and nail appointments. Overnights when needed. But beyond the physical needs being met, Chrystal kept Shirley mentally stimulated with games, puzzles, crafts and good conversation. She was intuitive to the level of engagement that was needed, as that could fluctuate, and she was patient and tolerate of any disagreeable actions that Shirley could exhibit. Because of her care we were able to keep Shirley at home with our family for longer that we thought possible.
