Hello everyone! My name Is Christy and I am looking for the perfect nannying family to help out in the busy mornings in the Tucson area! I received my bachelors degree In Special Education in 2019 in Ohio. From there, I moved to Arizona to begin teaching. I just finished my third year as a 6th grade special education teacher in June of this year. After 3 years of working with middle school students and full classroom teaching, I knew that I wanted to do more for the kids. So, I took the leap and began grad school for school counseling. Unfortunately meaning I had to step down from teaching. I have been a babysitter/nanny since age 12 in both Ohio and Arizona. I have experience working with children from newborn to age 13 along with kids with special needs, and am open to any age group. I am looking for a morning position to help around the house or with morning drop off. I will keep kids engaged in the busy mornings and help get them ready for the day!

My husband and I hired Christy to nanny for us and our 2 year old last summer. She was the most professional, compassionate, and kind person we could have ever hoped to care for our son. She excitedly worked with him on counting, learning new words, sensory play, etc. She has a teaching background and her true love for working with children definitely shined through while she nannied for us! We would still have her (and it would be a no-brainer) if we hadn't, sadly, moved to a different state during the fall. We all miss her and her positive light so much and hope to cross paths again!
