About Christy

Hi there! I'm Christy, and I bring 10 years of experience of tutoring and classroom teaching. I hold a master's degree in international education policy and management. I also taught at my family's school in Taiwan and Korea using Montessori and Waldorf methodology. I am a child's companion and mentor, and love to help kids exercise their creative and problem solving skills in the comfort of their home. I have taught children ages 3-12 and been a nanny for children ages 1-9 internationally. Able to provide infant care, I raised my siblings from a young age. If there are behavioral issues you'd like to address, we can work on those together. I'm neurodivergent and understand children with some special needs. I'm a bilingual speaker (Mandarin Chinese) and can also help your child get acquainted with basic Chinese (writing and speaking). I'd be happy to discuss how you'd like to enrich your child's time.
