About Christy

I'm passionate about helping students unlock their unique potential through personalized support. Open communication is essential for understanding needs, setting clear expectations, and building trust with both students and parents. Witnessing "aha!" moments and seeing confidence grow is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor. I have a college degree and can help with Math, English, and Test Preparation for Elementary and Middle School students. I am comfortable tutoring at your home, a center, library, community center, or school. I have 18 years of experience homeschooling my three children and it has been the joy of my life! I also have taught in homeschool co-op settings for many years, I teach Sunday school, and I am a substitute teacher for the Botetourt school system.
