About Christy

We were incredibly fortunate to have Christy care for my grandparents for just under two years. She supported both of them through complex medical needs—my grandfather had several health issues, and my grandmother had dementia. Christy not only managed their medications with great attention to detail but also advocated for them during doctor’s appointments, always asking the right questions and anticipating their needs. She brought so much warmth into their lives—cooking meals they loved, singing along with their favorite music in the kitchen, and taking them out for ice cream or to their favorite spots. She planned senior-friendly outings. Very knowledgeable of local resources and senior friendly businesses to arrange things from haircuts to meals-on-wheels. Christy is deeply compassionate, reliable, and communicative. She often stepped in last-minute or stayed overnight when my grandfather’s health declined. She texted daily updates to keep us in the loop, which meant so much to our family. When my grandfather entered hospice, Christy stayed by our side throughout the entire process. She helped care for him with such tenderness and dignity, and was with us until the very end. Her presence during that time was a gift we’ll never forget. Her calm, patient approach—especially with my grandmother—combined with her strong medical knowledge made her an extraordinary caregiver.
