Hello my Chris and have 4 years of caregiving and medication aid experience in a facility setting. I became resident care coordinator in December of 2022, Left my role to become a medical assistant. Some of my skills I've learned are: Dressing- keeping dignity and giving options Bathing - bed bath, showering, bathing in tub General hygiene- teeth brushing, brushing hair, cleaning glasses Doing laundry- having been assigned multiple laundry's a day and getting it back on time General house keeping- tiding up, keeping bathrooms clean, bed making, vacuuming and keeping living area tidy. Meal prep- giving options and what to eat and keeping eating on schedule as well as snack preparation for residents Being compassionate- getting to really know those who I work for on a personal level Having Empathy- understanding needs change. Time management and dependability- being on time and having someone who you can rely on to take care of your loved ones.
