I was a nanny when my children were preschoolers. Prior to that, I was a home health aide for the elderly and disabled. I also worked in a group home for mentally and physically handicapped children. I then went back to school and had a career as a dental assistant for 13 years. At that time I was lucky enough to take a few years to be a stay at home mom. My daughters are both now grown.
