About Christine

I'd describe my personality as warm, compassionate and energetic. Others often describe me as positive and kind-hearted. I like working with children because I connect so well with them. Whether we are reading books, singing, being creative, or having fun, I enjoy it all. As an extrovert, I find there is always something interesting that children want to share. Parents need support. When I was raising my 4 young children, I sometimes felt like I could use another set of hands. Now that they are all in school, I can be that support to another family. I started babysitting at 12 years old and continued for 10 more years. Starting at age 16, I taught private and group swim lessons to children of all ages for the next 8 summers. My college degree is in French Teaching and ESL. I taught French in a Junior High School for a year. I've been a stay at home mom to my 4 children for the last 19 years.
