About Christine

Chris S. worked at the former Kent Specialty Care Center for 18 years. I checked she worked for me because I was a resident there for six years. I am 65 years. old. In my late teens, I worked as a nurses' aide. I think I'm qualified to say that Chris is the best CNA I've ever known. She always arrived to work on time with a smile & a Good Morning. I always wanted Chris to take care of me but some days I lost out. I am a patient. Chris always treated my physical & emotional care with no judgment or prejudice. We talked while she took care of my physical needs, which made me feel like a normal human. She was careful to check all the creases & skin folds for cleanliness & to pay special attention to avoid fungal infections & breakdowns. She did an excellent job of directing other staff as she transferred me from bed to lift to wheelchair. An important element of her care often overlooked is that she smiled & made me smile. Her special trait, that I loved, was that when my care was done, she gave my room a once over to make sure it was clean, neat & organized for me. That just doesn't happen much among many aides. They don't consider how my room is my home. She always gave me complete, thorough & loving care. Chris was a special aide to many more residents than myself & appreciated by The Kent Administration as well. She is definitely an asset to any patient. Keep her forever. She is the best. A great aide. A wonderful person. And someone who cared enough to keep up communication with me to check on my physical & emotional health. Truly an angel here on earth. Sincerely. Regina C.
