About Christine

Hello! My name is Christine, and it would be my pleasure to help your children and your family. I have years of experience with toddlers and school-aged children. Most recently, I had the joy of taking care of a precious infant. I have also raised three very successful children of my own. I am very attuned to children's needs, and I love using play as an opportunity to learn. Reading, music, art, dance, and joy are just as important as schoolwork to a developing child. I am not a fan of screen time for any child. I understand the importance of technology in this day and age, but it must be very limited for our young ones in order for them to develop good social skills. I am a great cook, an avid reader, a gardener, and love hiking and love to share these hobbies with children, even if it's only a backyard expedition! I believe that getting outside and getting dirty is very important (don't worry, I'll make sure they are clean when you come home)!
