I have been taught that there are three types of work that someone can do in their lives. 1. It is a Job 2. It is a profession . 3. It is a calling . Most don't reach a calling. I am very passionate for my care of the elderly. I truly Love it! I began working with the elderly when I was only 16 years old. I started volunteering at a nursing home. The director noticed that I enjoyed interacting with the seniors. She offered me a job. I worked as a CNA for 5 years . I never minded helping a person to the toilet , dressing or feeding them. I know that little things mean a lot . Since I enjoyed the elderly I pursued more education. I obtained my LPN degree while I was in High school. I worked for that nursing home for a total of 13 Years I really enjoy helping the elderly and listening to their interesting stories. I treat my clients with care and dignity. I know that I am making a difference in someone's life .

Feb 12, 08:57 PM Chris has been a terrific find and both my Dad, who requires her care, and my Mom, who needs to feel comfortable having people in her home, are delighted with the care and knowledge she brings to the table. When I left my parents home today Chris was making soup with my Mom and she had arranged to borrow her husbands car so the raging snow storm would not keep her from caring for my father. She has been a welcomed addition to our family of care givers.
