I worked over 7yrs in Vet clinic, I worked side by side with the doctors and technicians every day -- med schedules, post-op care, and catching when a pet needed extra attention before anyone else noticed. My dear cat Woogie who was a diabetic needed insulin injections twice a day. My uncle is a well-known veterinarian with Guide Dogs for the Blind, so service-animal care isn't abstract to me; it's family. I've had dogs and cats my whole life. My senior photos were even taken with Nevada, a guide dog prospect who didn't make the service cut but was perfect in every way that mattered. I still miss him. I'm truly an empath. Animals feel it right away and adapt to my energy quickly -- most settle within minutes. I'm big on routines, gentle handling, and updates.
