I'd describe my personality as compassionate, loving, happy! I like caring for seniors because I have plenty of experience in caregiving for my own elders, as well as those with health issues & disabilities within my own family. I believe no one (our elders especially ) should be alone or be lonely. I'm looking for a job that allows me to bring happiness & care & comfort to our elders. I started caring for seniors when I moved my grandmother in with me in 2005 & I cared for her until she passed in 2009. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my Sons & with my mom & my in-laws. I also like to cook & watch sports!! I am a big Washington Capitals hockey fan! I love the beach! One thing you should know about me is I am recently retired from the federal government, in which I held a top secret clearance for the Navy. I am dedicated in all I do & caring for others is my specialty! My skills include companionship, hygiene care, and transportation to and from Dr. appointments.
