About Christine

For several years, I volunteered and worked for families needing senior care. During college, I provided care for a 91-year-old woman in her daughter's home. This position involved: Cooking, cleaning, toileting, dressing, and companionship. This was 24 hour care while her daughter was out of town. Later, I worked as a live-in caregiver for a quadriplegic senior. My daily responsibilities included; bathing, physical therapy, trachea change, and administering of medication. Plus, I was in charge of cooking, cleaning, and shopping for most household supplies. Periodically, I transported him for outings and doctors appointments. Most recently, I assisted a 91-year-old lady in her daughter's home. I provided evening and overnight care, when family was away on business. This involved meal preparation, clean up, and companionship for her. On occasion I worked a day shift. This involved assistance with bathing, dressing, and driving her to appointments. It is such a privilege for me to give a helping hand in the life of a senior, and to provide support to their families. This is very meaningful work for me.
