I'd describe my personality as funny, energetic, caring, and trustworthy. I love to laugh, stay busy, and make sure kids feel safe and comfortable being themselves. I love working with kids because every age is special and I enjoy seeing them grow into their own unique personalities. I'm looking for a job that is with a family where we can trust each other, communicate openly, and work together. I want to be someone both the kids and parents feel comfortable with. I started working with kids from my first job. I babysat, lifeguarded, taught swimming lesson. Following college, I spent 20 years working with kids and families. In my spare time, I spend it with my family and my three dogs, exercise, watch crime shows, and new adventures. One thing you should know about me is I like to listen to kids and make them feel valued. My skills include connecting with kids, helping with big feelings, making learning fun, helping with schoolwork, and most importantly, keeping kids safe.
