Christine spent 7 months with my mom whom is in late stages of dementia. Fortunately my mom is physically very healthy so Christine was a great match for her. Christine has high energy and was able to keep her busy (folding, swiffering, viewing pictures, and talking) this was important and what my mom liked/needed. In addition, Christine is a good cook and prepared both breakfast and lunch. Mom always enjoyed her cooking. Christine would ask me questions on mom's preferences and would adapt to items I knew mom would enjoy. The other beneficial skill that Christine has was her ability and desire to get to know our family (structure, names, etc.) this was beneficial for their conversations - while looking at pictures Christine could mention names and relationships. Finally, Christine would still be caring for my mom; however, the majority of our family is in another state and it was time for her to go back.
