We hired Christy to watch our three kids every other Saturday for a date night.  She was always timely and professional.  She made us feel like our kids were in great hands when we left.  We would highly recommend!

Christine is absolutely amazing!  She is very responsible, caring , and communicative.  Christine first cared for our toddler who struggled with attachment issues and she helped us feel so comfortable leaving to enjoy a date night.  He now gets so excited when she comes to take care of him.  We welcomed a baby last summer and Christine transitioned to taking both children so seamlessly.  She has been a game changer for us by allowing my husband and I to have regular date nights knowing our children are having fun and in great hands! 

We have been working with Christy for 3 years.  She has watched my 4 kids newborn to 8yrs over the years.  Between sibling fights, toddler meltdowns, and overall kid chaos, Christy handles with the calmness and poise.  She has done a variety of jobs for us such as daytime routines, date nights and preschool pickup/drop off.  She communicates clearly/quickly, incredibly organized, and takes direction very well.  She’s been such an incredible help over the years.  My kids love her and consider her apart of the family.  When I leave the house, I have no worries at all.

Christine did a great job watching my children.  She checked in as asked and the kids were fed and asleep when we returned home.  I recommend.

Christy is absolutely wonderful!  I need an extra set of hands a few nights each week for my infant twins.  Christy takes care of one or both while I cook, clean, do their laundry, give one a bath and/or prepare their bottles and other items for the next day.  It's a huge help, especially as a full-time working mom!!  She's kind, dependable, great with the girls and I appreciate her so much!

LOVE Christine! Best decision ever to take a leap, she is a blessing and has turned out to be wonderful support for our family. This was our first time hiring outside care for our 9 month old son and she put all of our worries at ease. She is highly experienced and her communication is extremely clear and organized, something that we really appreciate given the chaotic schedules we have. My son loves spending time with her, he never cries when we leave and when I come home he is always in a very happy mood laughing and smiling. She takes such good care of our son, I feel good about leaving him with her and I am able to be productive at work not worrying. I am so grateful to have found her! We are looking forward to a long relationship with Ms. Christy!

I needed her to cover a couple of hours 1 morning. She was great, showed my stepson the Pokédex while he was watching his morning Pokemon. He was enthralled and talked of little else the rest of that day. We also introduced Kix which she aptly called "poke balls" which is what we call them now. Hire Christine - you won't regret it.

We started working with Christine about a month ago and she has cared for our toddler many times already. She is always on time. She is extremely trustworthy - we were working out of town and entrusted her to get our child from daycare at the end of the day and get him fed, to bed, everything. There have been no issues and our child loves when Ms. Christine is going to come visit. We will continue to have her care for our child, and would definitely recommend to others!

We have hired Christy to care for our newborn when I return to work later this summer. We were very impressed with her experience and other recommendations. It was easy to talk to her and we could tell she will know exactly how to care for our newborn. She seems like the perfect fit for our family and we are looking forward to her taking care of our little one.

I hired Christine when my daughter was 1 year old .Now she's 4. Christine helped me through with tantrums, discipline and other difficulties that comes in their toddler's age.Also Christine was really strict with her house rules and I really liked that.My daughter learned a lot about manners and how to connect with other kids. She's a really nice, liable,caring person who welcomed my daughter with her kindness.I can really recommend her to everyone.

Christie was a temporary daycare for our 2 girls, ages 18 months and 7 years old while our provider was on vacation. We were referred to Ms. Christie by a friend and quickly realized why they were so happy with her services. She is extremely knowledgeable about caring for little ones and very patient. Our youngest was not used to being cared for outside of the home and Ms. Christie made her feel welcome and comfortable. She also made my husband and I feel good about leaving for work knowing that she was in good care. Ms. Christie worked with our 18 month old to develop social skills that were obvious in the short weeks that she was with Ms. Christie. I would recommend her to anyone with children. Our first reactions after completing her interview and site inspection were that we really liked the comfortable home setting environment, small group size, her professional manner and demonstrated years of experience. This list of things combined with the reasonable fee and location were the reasons we chose Christy's and have been very happy with that decision ever since.


We moved to the Gurnee area about 8 months ago and had to find a place for our son to go to before and after school as we are two parents that work full time. We received many recommendation of places and after visiting Christy's we knew that this is where we wanted our son to go. It wasn't such a daycare or facility environment but more a home environment. He came with us to our first meeting with her and as soon as we left he said " Mom I want to go there". We knew with his response as well as our feelings this was the place to send him. We are very saddened to hear she will not be in the area next year but are ever so grateful for the time she had with our son. Anyone who would be able to have their child in her care would be extremely lucky and blessed!!

Ms Christy is a wonderful care take. I couldn't have found someone better to watch my son. She tailors each approach to the specific child. Many evenings when I was picking up my son I would listen to her interaction with different children and as a mom I picked up little lessons from her that I use to this day with my own family. I could go on and on we just love Ms Christy!

I lived with Christy for a year, and I saw first-hand how she works everyday and for every child with the same enthusiasm, care and integrity. She has a purposeful approach to discipline and can maintain order and peace among several age groups all at once. She creates a warm, and open environment for every person who comes in her home. As a childcare provider myself, I see the natural and learned skills she has to speak to children and the parents, while always maintaining a sense of professionalism and authority. It is very obvious that she takes pride in her work, and yet she is still so humble and generous. I am blessed to know her, and any child would be in great hands with Ms. Christy!
