About Christine

Empowering K-2 students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With a master's degree in elementary teaching and 20 years of experience teaching preschool and kindergarten, I specialize in making Math and Reading accessible and engaging. I prioritize personalized support, adapting my methods--from visual aids to hands-on activities--to match your child's unique learning style. I provide consistent positive reinforcement and celebrate every small success to keep motivation high. I believe clear communication is essential, so I provide regular updates to ensure we are aligned in supporting your student's growth. I am happy to meet at a library, coffee shop or other public space. Witnessing a student's confidence flourish as they master new skills remains the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to helping your child discover the joy of learning.
