In the early part of my nursing career I worked in the newborn nursery, NICU and occasionally in pediatrics. While raising my children I taught Sunday School to 3 and 4-year-olds and volunteered as a docent at my children's schools teaching art projects for many years. For 4 years I was a volunteer in a reading program at my children's school and worked with students on a one on one basis. But the best experience I received was being a stay at home mom for three rambunctious kids. My boys were 18 months apart and wild as can be.
