10 year Volunteer Coordinator for a large hospital systen in the Northwest suburbs. 20 plus years experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia, including the care of my mother who succumbed to Alzheimer's at 70 years old. DSP for Autism spectrum and Down Syndrome 10 years. Extremely patient, kind and caring. I always meet people where THEY are with respec and dignity. I encourage their independence assisting when a task may be too much or dangerous. I never make someone feel that they are incapable, encouraging them to help if appropriate. I am not looking for full time work but rather 12-15 hours weekly where I can become an extension of your family that you can count on and trust implicitly.
