God has given me a love for older people. I enjoy spending time with them and bringing a smile to their faces. I see each one as a valuable treasure with a wealth of experiences to share. I love interacting with them and listening to their stories! They may need a little more help as they get older, but they are still real people that should not be pushed aside and forgotten. I have been helping elderly people for about 10 years. I have done house cleaning, prepared meals, ran errands and bought groceries, taken people to appointments, helped manage medications, encouraged physical therapy and exercise, and many other tasks. I try to help however I am needed without making people feel helpless or inadequate. We all need some assistance from time to time especially as we get older. It is my joy to be of service and to help make life a little easier.
