Hello everyone! I'm looking to provide care for kiddos who are of walking age. I have over 20 years experience caring for children both in-home & within school settings. During the school year, I work full-time as an assistant teacher for special needs children in a preschool in Scarborough. I am CPR and first aid certified and have a clean driving record. I have a sweet energetic 4-year-old little boy who will also be with me during the day. He is a great playmate! I am available June 30-August 15. The hours I am available are M-Th in the afternoons & Friday all day. I also am available for evening care. In addition to the summer, I am also available: All day June 12 & 13 The week of June 16-20 all day. I look forward to hearing from you!

Christie currently cares for our 4 year old and 1 year old one afternoon a week. Occasionally, she also takes care of our 6 year old (dependent on his school schedule). Christie has quickly become a huge asset to our family, our children adore her and trust her (as do we). She always arrives promptly and is enthusiastic about spending the afternoon with the kids. She is very flexible, communicates thoroughly with my husband and I, and has a genuine love of kids. Christie follows our requests with regard to the kids' schedules/meals/etc., and is very self-directed with regard to initiating engaging activities with the kids. In addition to her nurturing care of the kids, Christie does a wonderful job managing the various behavior challenges that children present by remaining very calm yet firm. Christie jumped right into our family routine on her first visit and we continue to feel very fortunate to have her care for our children. We highly recommend her!
