I have taken my grandmother grocery shopping twice a month for 7 years until she decided she wanted to go into a nursing home. So I cared for her in place of assisted living until her acceptance into a home. I cooked her meals, did light cleaning, did her laundry, bathed her, manicured her nails weekly (and still do), and sat with her and watched her favorite television shows. It was a wonderful time of my life and I was lucky enough to have had that time. I've been an at home mom for 14 years and love every minute of it. My kids are my life and I have been available for them as they have grown into these amazing kids with many after school games and activities.
