"Children must be taught how to think, not what to think." A native English speaker, originally from the Midwest. I have been a K-12 Tutor for over 10 years. I have a Bachelor of Secondary Education and a Master of Arts in Business Management with an emphasis in Leadership. I strive to meet the needs of each of my students in a way that best matches their individual learning styles, interests and motivations. I hope to instill in each of my students, not only subject material, but also the love for learning. I will help your child reach their potential! I currently have daytime hours (PST), homeschool & east coast students all subjects, please apply! I am accepting waitlist studenst as follows: K - 3rd grade reading (in person only). 1st - 8th grade arithmetic students for waitlist (in person or online). 6th - 12th writing students (online only). 7th - 12th Geography/History students for waitlist (online only). My rate is $50 per 45 minute session.

Our daughter has a severe stigmatism (Sees the eye doctor every 4-6mos) and was behind in school by 2-3 grade levels. We tried other tutoring programs, in addition to school IEP and reading help however there was no improvement and we knew we needed to intervene since there was no progress. Our daughter in 5 months with Christina has went up a grade level in reading and her teacher has noticed the improvement and so have we! She’s confident and continuing to work on the skills needed to thrive. This has been the best thing to happen to our daughter and without Christina I don’t know what we would have done. Hoping we can stay with her for as long we can!! She has easily became another supportive adult in our daughter’s corner and that’s all that a parent could ask for. We love Christina!
