My first job was at an Alzheimer's facility, assisting with general care such as bathing and feeding, as well as encouraging the participation in activities or just giving some time and attention to a loved one. I also have experience with one on one, as well as day program settings serving those with special needs. I am very comfortable with behavioral changes throughout the day, knowing to go with the flow of the client. Understanding that they may need their needs anticipated for rather than being able to advocate for themselves, I take the initiative to make sure our loved ones are cared for just as a family member would. I am a very bubbly person, I love to get into the world of my client, instead of forcing them into the world around! I never hesitate to do what it takes to make sure my client feels loved, valued, and truly cared for.
