About Christina

Christina was a companion to my sister for 3 years until her death, visiting with her 3 times a week for 3-5 hours at a time. My sister, in her mid-70s, was post-stroke and physically frail, and was in a facility that took care of all of her basic needs. However, she was mentally sharp and social, and Christina's intellect, compassion, sense of humor and creativity enhanced my sister's quality of life beyond measure. Christina provided social and intellectual stimulation and became the family's go-to for many aspects of her care. Christina was proactive in predicting my sister's needs; a trusted observer of the care she was or was not receiving; accompanied her to appointments on occasion and was trusted to gather medical or other information from those meetings; and related well to all staff at the care facility and easily became like a member of our own family. I can highly recommend her for her integrity, dependability and caregiving expertise.
