I was a CNA for many years and then worked in various other positions in skilled nursing facilities. I worked as a CNA, RA, Life enrichment coordinator, and Director of Social services. I'm well versed in taking care of people with disabilities that range from minimal assist to max assist. I also have done very well with hospice patients, in fact they used to make sure that I had all of the hospice patients because I worked very well with the families and took excellent care of their loved ones. I know how to do vitals, lift machines, and I know medical terminology. I have all of the skills of a CNA and social services. I'm well versed in all aspects of care. IF I made someone smile that day then I know I have done my job. And most importantly they should be treated with respect and dignity
