I have over 10 years' of experience working with the geriatric population, specifically those with Alzheimer's/dementia & other physical/mental disabilities. My first training was through Plus In-Home Services as a Personal Caregiving Assistant. In addition, I have also worked as a Family Development Specialist at Buena Vista TAP Head Start, a classroom assistant for children with disabilities , I chose to return to a paraprofessional position at one of our local elementary schools. This position allows me greater flexibility to re-incorporate personal caregiving in my services to others. Ensuring quality & compassionate caregiving is an ongoing passion & commitment of mine.
