About Christie

I'd describe my personality as fair, fun, firm. I find working with children personally fulling. I enjoy watching children grow and learn new things. Working with children can be a creative outlet for me as well. I began working in childcare in high school and college. I have been substitute teaching since September. I retired in May 2025 after 28 years in public education. I have taught all grades kinder-4th grade. I'm looking for a job that allows me to spend time teaching and caring for children's emotional, physical, and educational well-being. In my spare time, I enjoy thrifting, decorating, volunteering in animal rescue, and reading. I also have a photography business. One thing you should know about me is that I create strong relationships with students and children. Children and aninimals are my passion. My skills include problem-solving, communication, and fostering a love of learning in kids.
