About Christen

Hi my name is Christen and I am a patient and empathetic nurse with a passion for helping others, especially those who cannot fully care for themselves. I love to talk with people and hear their life stories. I bring a calm presence and a strong attention to detail. My goal is to always make my clients feel safe, respected, and comfortable in their own homes. As a nurse, I'm experienced in monitoring health changes, managing medications, and recognizing when something doesn't seem quite right. Just as importantly, I believe quality care is about connection. I treat each person I care for with patience, kindness, and dignity. Personally, I love to read and spend time with my cat. I love the outdoors and also roller skating. I enjoy conversations about various subjects and would be a great companion for someone who is maybe lonely and does not get a lot of social interaction. I also love pets! I'm happy to help with any care for pets in the home as well.
