Hello, my name is Christel . I am from Belgium and worked there as a midwife for many years. I decided to work as a caregiver . I know how difficult it is to find someone you can trust with your children and family I've been there. I have been a caregiver for 9 years but I have a lot of more experience because of my education. I would like to add that I am certified in both CPR and First Aid, I maintain it every 2 year. I love taking care of people but I also enjoy playing games, reading, cooking, going to the park and all sort of arts and crafts. I am also a huge animal lover, have 2 big rescue dogs who are very spoiled. Keeping children happy and safe is my number one priority. Christel was an absolute Godsend for our family. She took great care of our elderly father with Alzheimer's and would visit with him twice a week in his care home. She would take him to doctor's appointments, take him out to eat, get his hair and nails trimmed, and get him toiletries. She would send the family pictures of our dad, which let us know how much he enjoyed spending time with her and how attentive she was to his needs. He has moved to a care facility farther away from Christel, which is the only reason we stopped using her services. So gracious and kind, we really wish he could have continued to stay near her, but his former facility was not ideal, and now he is closer to one of his kids. Christel was hands down the best person I have ever hired from care.com. She is amazing and you will do you and your family a huge favor by hiring her.
