I am a mom of two, with a passion for letting kids be kids, while modeling being a thoughtful, kind, curious human. My time as a parent, assistant preschool teacher, coach, Girl Scout leader, and most recently, a Parent Educator with families whose kids are currently in foster care, has taught me that kids have as much (or more!) to teach us as we do them, and that all kids are doing the absolute best they can with what they have at any given moment. I stay active throughout the day, and I like the ability to go for a walk, take a trip to the library, etc., particularly on long care days. I'm comfortable with pets and I'm happy to do some light housekeeping during nap times.
