About Christa

Hi! My name is Christa. I'm a retired teacher with close to 20 years of experience working with children from newborns through teenagers. I spent 17 years as a classroom teacher and have a Master's degree in Education, so I bring patience, structure, creativity, and strong communication into the families I work with. I'm comfortable caring for children of all ages and can help with routines, meals, homework, reading, summer activities, outdoor play, and keeping children safe, engaged, and cared for. I understand how important it is for families to have someone reliable, calm, trustworthy, and consistent. I have experience managing groups of children, supporting different learning styles, and creating a warm environment where children feel safe and understood. In my spare time, I love being outdoors, spending time with my daughter, who attends community college, caring for my dogs, and riding my UTV. I'm looking for a kind family where I can provide dependable child care and support.
