I have always been surrounded by pets but will confess that dogs are my weakness. The bigger, sloppier, funnier the better. I adopted Pebbles from the humane society when she was 6 years old and it was just the two of us for the seven years she was with me. Letting her go was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Since then I have lived in apartments where pets are not allowed and have had to get my fix through my friends dogs and cats. I have always loved animals and miss having one of my own to love on. I have a flexible schedule which leaves me with plenty of daytime hours to care for others' pets.
