Experience: 10 yrs
I have taught ESL, English, Spanish and. physical science in middle school through college. I held certifications in those fields and also National Board Certification and now I am retired. I taught for many years. My strengths as a tutor are knowledge, experience, patience and a strong desire to continue to contribute using my skills. Currently I prefer to teach in person in my home, a library, or your home, but will consider on-line. I find it very manageable if both the tutor and the student have the same book or materials to work with. CPR Cert., References on request.

My daughter worked with Chris for math tutoring and it was an excellent experience. Chris went above and beyond to find creative ways to work with my daughter. Chris was very dependable. Chris always sent a follow-up after each session sharing what happened and she even suggested ways I could support my daughter at home, for instance she suggested I let my daughter teach me how to do a certain skill. Chris was very encouraging and helped my daughter a lot with her math confidence. I recommend Chris 100%!
