About Chris

I'd describe my personality as dependable, sincere, empowering. I like tutoring because it builds confidence, competence, and self-esteem for the student. I'm looking for a job that helps the student overcome barriers to learning and acquire problem solving skills. My first competitive debate judging (evaluative) was over 40 years ago. My first substitute teaching job was about 35 years ago. In my spare time, I like to listen to music and network. One thing you should know about me is that I take a long-term view of learning. My skills include math up to "basic" calculus, basic engineering principles (but with a specialty in flight and attitude control), reading at all levels, business core courses.
