Outgoing enough to make a shy kid comfortable, empathetic enough to notice when something's off, and honest enough that parents always know where they stand with me. There's real magic in the early years. The curiosity, the endless questions, the way a kid lights up working something out for the first time. I love being the steady, caring presence who helps them explore that safely as they grow. I've worked with kids since I was a preteen: a horseback riding camp counselor in Bucks County, PA (ages 12-15), a high school babysitter, and a part-time nanny in Rye Brook, NY, handling pickups, activities, dinner, and homework. This summer I'd love to help a family fill those long out-of-school days exploring the city, parks, and museums, or relaxed days at home. I'm happy to manage camp and playdate drop-offs, though I don't drive and rely on the subway and buses. A recent grad, I'm reconnecting with my passions: horseback riding, baking, and exploring NYC.
