My love for kids started at a young age taking care of children at my local church in the daycare. Believers Church in Matteson gave me my very first childcare opportunity caring for the 2-3-year-olds during church services every Sunday morning. After that experience, I started my very own "babysitting club" based on the old books I use to fancy at a young age. (I still have the flyers I made on PowerPoint to hang around the neighborhood). I would do "date night" babysitting gigs around the neighborhood for a couple of years until my life changed by babysitting for Common's (the rapper-acter-activist) godchildren. From there, I'll spare you the fun in-depth details, he asked me to be apart of his book club for his foundation where I was interviewing his celebrity friends on the importance of reading for a long time. That jump-started my love for the entertainment industry up until my current age. In my adult years, I still nannied on the side of college and jobs as an extra income .
