I am a certified elementary school teacher with 8 years of experience in the classroom. I'd love to transfer these skills to help local families with childcare this summer! I have enjoyed working with children my entire life. What started with volunteering for vacation bible school, local babysitting, and even high school teaching courses led me to Appalachian State University to study elementary education. Throughout my time in school I had many field experiences in K-5 grade classrooms. Since graduating in 2018 I have been in the classroom as a full time teacher with a specialization in grades K-3! One thing you should know about me is I want your kids to have fun. The summer is a great time for everyone to recharge and enjoy themselves, so I would love to help with that.
