About Chiquita

Hi! My name is Chiquita, and caring for children has been a meaningful part of my life both professionally and personally. I've worked in licensed childcare centers where I cared for both infants and children. Outside of center-based care, I've also provided in-home support to and my responsibilities included picking up children from daycare, helping with dinner, bathing, meal prep, and light cleaning. I like working with kids because they bring joy, honesty, and creativity into every moment. I'm looking for a job where I can provide, loving care customized to a family's needs. In my spare time, I like to garden, watch a podcast, cook, and create something. One thing you should know about me is I keep the Sabbath and I don't work on that day. My skills include 1. Life Skills coaching- I help children build decision making and problem solving skills. 2. Emotional Intelligence Support - I help them process emotions. 3. Respect and Manners Development: listening to parents.
