A compassionate Certified Home Health Aide, with 8 years experience . I have had clients who had dementia, mild stroke, Parkinson disease, in hospice and those that needed companionship. I am very patient, so pleasant and very kind. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Human nutrition and Food Science, and one of the courses I took was human development. This has helped me understand better the psychological needs of senior members. I mastered different skills such as diaper change, turning and positioning clients on the bed to prevent bed sores, using hoyer lift for transferring clients, tube feeding, catheter change and sanctioning, bed baths . my main job comprised of; providing in -home care for seniors ; Prepare food according to diet plans, feed patients, perform light house keeping ; Ensure patients adhere to care plans, diets and exercise regimen; Assist patients with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
