About Chilo

Hello! My name is Chilo :) I am an Augustana BSN Honors nursing student entering my final stretch, with a passionate career goal of working in pediatric critical care (NICU/PICU). During the week, I work as a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) providing behavioral interventions for children, meaning I am highly trained in positive behavior support, safety, and de-escalation techniques. My previous professional experience includes leading youth programming for the YMCA and the Boys & Girls Club. While my professional jobs focus on school-aged kids, I have extensive personal experience caring for infants and newborns within my own family, managing feeding, safe sleep routines, and infant soothing. I hold my current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certifications. I am looking for flexible Friday evening through Sunday weekend care opportunities to support local families while maintaining my nursing study schedule!
