About Chidera

Hi! My name is Chidera, and I have 5+ years of experience working with children of all ages through childcare, tutoring, substitute teaching, and mentoring. I've worked as a tutor for 4 years, served as a substitute teacher within MCPS, and supported children with autism. As the oldest of five siblings, caring for infants and toddlers has always come naturally to me. My background as a nursing assistant and Clinical Research Technician has strengthened my patience, communication, organization, and caregiving skills. I'm comfortable helping with meals, routines, homework, and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. I'd describe myself as compassionate, driven, and nurturing. I love working with kids because I enjoy helping them learn, grow, and feel genuinely supported and cared for.
